Workshop
On the 16th of November, our lead consultant John ran a Create a Property Business, Work On your Business Not in your Business Workshop that was based on the book Right First Time Property Investing (available on Amazon). The workshop covered processes, systems, using data, 80/20 rule, the house of business model, Daruma goals, mission statements that can be measured, and much much more. This workshop demonstrated to property investors how they can work on their business and not in their business. The response and feedback from people who attended the workshop were extremely positive and one lucky person has won half a day of John’s time to review their business processes and systems, and a second person won a signed copy of John’s book.

Our lead consultant John will be running a one day workshop on the 16th November. The workshop is about Creating your Property Business (working on your business, not in your business) and is on behalf of a property investor group based in the North West.

On the 8th March, our lead consultant John was invited to speak to members of LNPG at their network event. A packed room of great people, lots of interest in the talk about working on your business and not in your business.

On the 13th of November, our lead consultant John was invited to be the main speaker at the UKPN network event that was attended by entrepreneurs. John’s topic was how to work on your business, not in your business. John introduced them to the House of Business model, processes, systems, customer focus, cost of poor quality, procedures and much more. The talk was well received and generated a lot of interest.

Book Launch
Trilith’s lead consultant John launched his new business fable for property investors Right First Time Property Investing. The book is important to all investors as it helps them look at working on their business, and not in their business. The tools and techniques show investors how to save time and money whilst still maintaining a good quality property that tenants are happy to stay in. The book is available on Amazon.
Invite
On the 10th April 2018, Trilith’s lead consultant John was invited to BSI headquarters in London to help create a new healthcare standard (ISO/TC304). John was also invited to join the metrics & analytics team within the new standard. In addition, John was asked because of his expertise in root cause analysis and human factors to lead a team to create a root cause analysis methodology standard for use in healthcare in the UK.
Speaker
On the 10th and 11th, March 2018 Trilith’s lead consultant John was speaking at Wolfson College, Cambridge University. On the first day, John was speaking to property investors about using quality tools and techniques to improve the efficiency of their business. On the second day, John addressed entrepreneurs who are selling on Amazon, about how to deal with the supply chain no matter where in the world they are located.

On Worldwide Quality Day Trilith’s lead consultant John was a speaker at the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE) and speaking to an audience of Quality Managers about Human Factors Root Cause Analysis. This is about getting past the “human error” and going deeper to understand how the error occurred and fix the system that allowed the person to make the error.
